01.Voices of Virginia Vol. 3 - Nov. 2

02.Hip-Hop Week at University of Richmond - Nov. 2-6
The University of Richmond Department of Theatre & Dance's annual Hip-Hop Week brings renowned guest artists from around the country to campus with the goal of exploring Hip-Hop’s profound impact on American culture, industry, and art. Artists and educators engage students and the local community in workshops, class visits across the curriculum, dance classes, performances, and more. Check out the schedule for the week here.
03.The Culture is Couture Expo - Nov. 8
The Culture Is Couture (TCIC) is a signature initiative of the Mostly Sugar Foundation dedicated to celebrating and elevating the influence of Black culture on the fashion, beauty and creative industries. Virginia Hip-Hop Foundation will have a pop-up at TCIC to celebrate Hip-Hop History Month. Tickets are available here.
04.Shockoe Arts and Culture’s Culture Shock - Nov. 14
We are happy to support The Shockoe Arts & Culture’s November Culture Shock Pop-Up, a dual initiative of live experiences designed to bring energy, culture, and community to the heart of Richmond’s historic Shockoe Bottom district. Pop-ups are powered by the City of Richmond, and hosted by both Main Street Station and The 17th Market, in celebration of the Shockoe community. Full list of Culture Shock Pop-Up events is here.
05.Dent:Blend Richmond - Nov. 19
An annual event featuring cross-pollination across disciplines and perspectives. Virginia Hip-Hop Foundation is happy to participate for the second year in a row. More info here
