In conjunction with Black Philanthropy Month, we are accepting donations all August to commemorate our first birthday. Please consider making a donation to support our programming for the rest of 2026, including our upcoming celebration for Hip-Hop History Month in November.   

This will be the second event celebrating Hip-Hop History Month since the Virginia Hip-Hop Foundation was founded in August 2025.  In November 2025, we hosted a culture talk at Virginia State University featuring Richmond based artists GSAMBO, Nickelus F, and Grammy winner, Mad Skillz.  These funds will help us expand for this year’s event and help us to establish a yearly Hip-Hop History Month celebration that people will look forward to every year. This anchor event will support the foundation’s greater initiative of a museum level exhibit in 2029.
